A 269th Sig Co RATT rig set up for inspection prior to deployment of the unit to the UK for FLINTLOCK 80. During the period 22 April 1980 to 26 May 1980, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) conducted its annual REFORGER Unconventional Warfare Exercise (FLINTLOCK) at RAF Sculthorpe in the United Kingdom and in selected operational areas throughout Europe. FLINTLOCK was designed to test and evaluate the Group's deployment plans, operational capabilities, tactical concepts, and equipment.
